The fire pit is made from an authentic ‘copper’, originally used to boil cane juice. Fresh coconuts also feature in the Jetty Bar giving you that unmistakable taste of the Caribbean. Located in a quiet corner of our tropical gardens the yoga pavilion is a serene space, designed exclusively for more meditative pursuits. Surrounded by the rich colours of the foliage and the quiet rustling of the palm fronds it is a place ideally suited to unwinding and de-stressing.  Both private and group lessons of yoga and Pilates take place here from sunrise to sundown. The classes and private instruction cater equally for the veteran student as much as those who would like to experience these disciplines for the first time. The expert instructors will provide instruction tailored to your level and the encouragement you need to make this a life-long practice.

Carlisle Bay offers a comprehensive range of complimentary non-motorized watersports on site, including kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, raft-building and snorkeling. All are suitable for beginners and expert tuition and equipment is provided.
Motorized watersports are provided in a neighboring cove to prevent disturbances to the tranquility of Carlisle Bay. These are chargeable activities. Try waterskiing, wakeboarding or tubing for the greatest thrill of your holiday!

Our most popular ride is an hour’s gentle trek around our beautiful valley, with a wonderful splashy wade through the water in Falmouth Bay – cool with great views, and photo ops. All our rides are private with a maximum of 4 riders.
Hike Antigua

Explore more of the island’s natural unspoiled beauty with our option of island hiking trails.

The goat track is a relatively easy walk, running between Fort Berkeley and Pigeon Beach, with scenic views over Falmouth Harbour, Windward Bay and Nelson’s Dockyard.

The trail to Rendezvous Bay is slightly longer and only moderately difficult but leads to one of the best deserted beaches on the island.

One of the most spectacular hikes on island and an easy/moderate walk, the trail to Signal Hill gently climbs through lush rainforest, with stunning panoramic views at the summit looking back to Carlisle Bay, down over English Harbour and out across the entire island.

Originally known as Boggy Peak, this is Antigua’s highest point, it is a moderate/hard climb with views looking back to Jolly Harbour in one direction and out to St. Johns in the other (Christian Valley trail recommended for hiking through the ‘green corridor’ to see the nature of Antigua).
